Who We Are

Lanka Guardian Commodities was established in Sri Lanka in 1990 by A.C.M. Mukhtar, who remains the chairman of the company. What began as a small family-led business supplying spices to local exporters gradually developed into a trusted export operation built on hands-on experience, direct sourcing relationships and a clear commitment to quality.

The company began exporting in 2010 and continued to grow through the dedication of its directors and sourcing teams. Over the years, LGC Exports has supplied Sri Lankan agricultural products to buyers across markets including Japan, the Middle East and India, while keeping the same practical values that shaped the business from the beginning.

As part of our continued expansion, we established our Indonesia branch in 2025 and our Madagascar branch in 2026. This multi-origin presence allows us to offer wider product diversity, stronger supply continuity and greater flexibility for customers looking for reliable sourcing partners.

Our Aim

Our aim is to deliver authentic, responsibly sourced agricultural products from renowned growing regions to buyers around the world. From Nature to the World is more than a tagline for LGC Exports; it reflects our role in connecting origin-level supply with international demand.

Our Products

LGC Exports supplies and exports a variety of products across our origin network. Sri Lanka remains our traditional sourcing hub for Ceylon tea, cinnamon, cloves, sesame seeds, black pepper, nutmeg and allied agricultural products. Our branches in Indonesia and Madagascar help us expand that portfolio with additional premium origin products.

By working across multiple origins, we give customers better access to seasonal supply, broader sourcing options and practical market knowledge. As our product ranges grow, we continue to focus on quality selection, clear communication and dependable export support.
